As Halloween Nears aka Eye Candy For Moe...

From Novel Destinations:

SpookySite: Come Halloween there's no spookier place to be than Sleepy Hollow, when the town-and the whole of the Hudson River valley- celebrates its storied past with Legend Weekend, featuring events such as scarecrow-making, the Great Jack O'Lantern Blaze, and spine-tingling nighttime ghost story walks.

Sleepy Hollow's Old Dutch Church and the adjacent Old Dutch burying ground (http://www.olddutchburyingground.org/) are the memorable locales where Ichabod Crane had his fateful encounter with the Headless Horseman. The church hosts dramatic readings of Irving's ghostly tale during Legend Weekend while the cemetary- where the Headless Horseman tethered his steed-still has ghoulish tombstones dating from the 17th century. Nearby is the Sleepy Hollow Cemetary (540 North Broadway), where Irving was laid to rest.

Sleepy Hollow Cemetary has a section called Author's Ridge. Not only is Irving here but also Emerson, Thoreau, Hawthorne, Louisa May Alcott and her fahter Bronson as well. http://www.concordma.gov/

And a quote from the Eye Candy:I guess I'm attracted to these off beat roles because my life has been a bit abnormal. The only thing I have a problem with is being labeled. Johnny Depp
