For the third time...

Since I've moved here I've recieved a summons for jury duty. I'm not complaining but I have to wonder why I keep getting called. I wasn't picked, and that's okay. It was a gorgeous Spring day here. I took advantage of it and took a stroll to the town square. I bought a few old vinyls, Kirsten Flagstad and Dinah Washington! I also took a walk down the road near where I live and brought the digi. Anyway-- here are a couple of photos from my day. From the court house to the long and winding road near my home.

And yes, that is a Dream Academy record. I don't care about being cool.

Falling against what you know
Falling against the tide
Oh what you want
Is it what you want?
Is this what you want?
Because we are young
And things are wrong
We'll lose the chains
We'll make things right
Before the sun goes down on
And out of sight
We'll lose the chains
Cause you and I
We move against the tide

i admit that the photo and song don't match...i don't care

From the morning

A day once dawned, and it was beautiful

A day once dawned from the ground

Then the night she fell

And the air was beautiful

The night she fell all around.

So look see the days

The endless coloured ways

And go play the game that you learnt

From the morning.

And now we rise

And we are everywhere

And now we rise from the ground

And see she flies

And she is everywhere

See she flies all around

So look see the sights

The endless summer nights

And go play the game that you learnt

From the morning.

we had SOME sunshine yesterday

'Cause it's a bittersweet symphony, this life
Try to make ends meet
You're a slave to money then you die
I'll take you down the only road I've ever been down
You know the one that takes you to the places where all the veins meet yeah,
No change, I can change
I can change, I can change
But I'm here in my mold
I am here in my mold
But I'm a million different people from one day to the next
I can't change my mold
No, no, no, no, no
Well I never pray
But tonight I'm on my knees yeah
I need to hear some sounds that recognize the pain in me, yeah
I let the melody shine, let it cleanse my mind, I feel free now
But the airways are clean and there's nobody singing to me now
No change, I can change
I can change, I can change
But I'm here in my moldI am here in my mold
And I'm a million different people from one day to the next
I can't change my mold
No, no, no, no, no
I can't changeI can't change
'Cause it's a bittersweet symphony, this life
Try to make ends meet
Try to find some money then you die
I'll take you down the only road I've ever been down
You know the one that takes you to the places where all the things meet yeah
You know I can change, I can change
I can change, I can change
But I'm here in my mold
I am here in my mold
And I'm a million different people from one day to the next
I can't change my mold
No, no, no, no, no
I can't change my mold
no, no, no, no, no,
I can't change
Can't change my body,no, no, no
I'll take you down the only road I've ever been down
I'll take you down the only road I've ever been down
Been down
Ever been down
Ever been down
Ever been down
Ever been down
Have you ever been down?
Have you've ever been down?

sometimes the gray skies get to me...

Maybe the sun will shine today
The clouds will blow away
Maybe I won’t feel so afraid
I will try to understand
Either way
Maybe you still love me
Maybe you don’t
Either you will or you won’t
Maybe you just need some time alone
I will try to understand
Everything has its plan
Either way
I’m gonna stay
Right for you
Maybe the sun will shine today
The clouds will roll away
Maybe I won’t be so afraid
I will understand everything has its plan
Either way
